Hubert de Givenchy is gone… The fashion world lost a great designer, a man who lived for style, elegance, fashion and the good taste when it comes to dressing women all over the world.
There is not much to say, when you are sad and best is to keep in memory looking back at his great pieces, from Haute Couture to Ready to Wear, he understood, body, style, fabric, draping and elegance via simplicity.
His signature look was the shoulder wrap dress and fabulous sleeves.
A divine look that made fashion history. These chiffon puff sleeves also are forever in the fashion world archives as a great example for pure elegance and style.
He gave us a lot. Givenchy your style will be missed. One of the last couturier leaves us with great designs and hopefully they will be passed on to the next generation of young designers. Paris and the world is sad. Fashion must go on…..

His eye for the details and the feminine look was marvellous. A true connoisseur of fabrics, threads, and eye for embroidery and for beauty.
His muse was no other than Audrey Hepburn a great actress and ambassador for the brand. He created most of her outfits for the movies she played in. He connected cinematography with fashion like no other.
We all remember the black dress from Breakfast at Tiffany, it;s now not only a piece of history , it;s iconic and will always be in fashion. Givenchy you rocked the fashion world and you will be missed!
